Pukepoto Club Pars

A meeting of the committee of the Pukepoto Tennis Club was held at the residence of Mr. J. Morrison on Wednesday evening. The results of the. afternoon tea stall held during .the pageant oil Sunday were tabled and a very satisfactory profit of £3/10/0 was shown on the day’s work.

Arrangements were finalised for the holding of a Cabaret on the night of January 25th. While the primary object of the function will lie the raising of funds for the club, opportunity will be taken to welcome the members of the Auckland Aero Club who are staging another pageant on that date. An energetic working bee was formed to decorate the hall and everything was arranged in order that the first cabaret ever held in Kaitaia will be another page in the history of local social functions.
