Lodge Christmas Tree

On Thursday evening last, the # Annual Christmas Tree function was held in the A. and P. Hall, for the children of the members of the Oddfellows’ Lodge. A very capable committee was in charge and consequently the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The Christmas Tree was gaily decorated with balloons and the usual Christmas hangings and countless toys. Santa Claus distributed a gift to each- of the children whose joy was manifest, after which this time honoured emissary of Christmas spirit and good cheer took his departure. Supper was served then to the children and adults and another pleasant evening passed all too quickly for those present.
