Racing Club’s Finances

A Satisfactory Position

A condition of the finances was reported by the president, Mr. T. H. Kenny, at the annual meeting of the Waipapakauri Racing Club on Monday evening. The interest would be practically nothing, and for that reason the club should be able to make a do of things. The club was not really out to make money, Mr. Kenny stated. All they wanted was the sport, and they did not want expensive hurdles such as other clubs had invested in.
