Butter Production Increases.
Record Season Probable. Butter produced by the Kaitaia Co-operative Dairy Company for the month ot October amounted to 121 tons 2 cwt., as against 106 tons 18 cwt. for the same month last year—an increase of 12.72 per cent, For the season to the end of October the production totalled 221 tons 12 cwt., as compared with 196 tons 11 cwt. for the same period of last year. Herd-testing is telling its tale, and with anything like good climatic conditions there seems every possibility of the present season being a record.
