HEREKINO DAIRY CO.
ANNUAL MEETING. The above meeting took place at Herekino on Saturday last, the chairman of directors, Mr. L. Lecoustre, presiding over an attendance of 95. The chairman in his remarks, touched on the past season and compared prices paid 'or butterfat by various neighbouring Coys and said it was a difficult thing to compare same without going right into all the poin's, viz:—prices paid lor superfine, length of season, over-run, etc. He thought that the Herekino Coy had paid out quite favourably with other Coys considering all items. Mr. Lecoustre spokM'rongly on co-operation, the need for Imping up the quality of cream sup. plied, cream grading, and referred to the Control Board. He also strongly advised suppliers to increase their outputs. The report and balance sheet were adopted. Voting for election of four directors was as follows:—L. Lecoustre 106, A. C. Powell 64, G. Veza 50, D. Lunjevich 48 0 (elected) C. McMath 45, R. Waipouri 33, A. Gedd ■ 13, L. Lloyd 10, D. Murray 7. Mr. Mr. il. Atkins was re-appointed auditor.
