RIWAKA.

The prizes awarded to the children attending the above-named school, wero presented on Friday, the 22nd, by tho Rev. W. G. Thomas, of Motueka. Sports of various kinds engaged the children during tho afternoon, and in the evening there was a tea party, which drew together a large number of persons. After tea, the prizes ■were distributed, and the list was a long one through tho liberality of the parents, and other friends of the school.
