BOOKMAKER FINED
Wellington, This Day. Samuel Geoffrey Fuller, aged 73, yas fined £l5O for bookmaking. The police said complaints had been made about his operations in a hotel and a detective found him there at a telephone. He admitted taking bets in the bar. He had had two previous convictions and the police said he defied warnings to cease the practice. —P.A.
