NEW LEASE OF LIFE From Our Parliamentary Reporter) Wellington, This Day. Although the Financial Debate is nearing its end, it took a new lease of life last evening in the House of Representatives. when the Minister of Health. Mr A. H. Nordmeyer. dealt with a number of important topics arising out of the social security scheme, including medical clinics, a home nursing service and domestic aid He also covered several points relating to the Government’s attitude towards doctors at present on war service. There have now been 60 speakers in the Budget Debate. Most of the morning sitting and all the afternoon session were devoted to discussion on the Land Development Committee's report. The House adjourned at 10 p.m. until this afternoon.
