FINE WITH FROST Wellington, This Day. The indications are for moderate southerly winds becoming variable to-morrow. Weather fine with sharp frost to-night. The further outlook is for occasional showers in the west and fair conditions elsewhere.
The weather on Saturday was mainly overcast and only 2hrs 32min sunshine was recorded. There were showers late in the evening and during the night the fall being .23 of an inch. Sunday was a bleak day with a partially overcast sky. The sun shone for only 4hrs 32min. Last [ night temperatures were colder, a ' frost of 3-8 degrees being recorded. I To-day was calm and sunny. Over the week-end there was a heavy fall * of snow on the western ranges.
