NAZI HORROR CAMPAIGN
HOSTAGES TO ALLIED GOVERNMENTS TAKEN Rugby, Oct. 22. Germany’s application for the first time of a system of hostages to Allied governments in London marks a further step in the recent tightening up of the German campaign of horror and brutality. A Prague announcement that the relatives of the Czech Government in London had been sent to internment camps as reprisal acts for sabotage was answered last night by the Czech Foreign Minister, M. Mazaryk who warned Prague authorities of punishment in store after the war for the perpetrators of such acts of barbarity.—B.O.W.
