WELLINGTON DELEGATES MEET At a conference of Wellington delegates of the National Party Mr J. H Mcllroy, chairman of the Wellington division, addressed yie meeting and reported on the progress being made with organisation throughout the territory included in the Wellington division. The secretary, Mr T. C. Wilkes, outlined a plan for co-ordinating the 1 metropolitan electorates, which included the appointment of a centra] committee and an organiser to work exclusively in the local electorates. The meeting unanimously endorsed Mr 1 Wilkes s proposal and a central com- | mittee was elected. i Reports indicated a large increase in membership during recent months and ! that many offers of assistance were b -ng received from people who had not hitherto taken an active part in politics.
