FOR BALLOTED TEACHERS [United Press Association! AUCKLAND. This Day. “The question is, are we appealing for any men drawn for overseas service?” said the chairman, Mr W. J Campbell, when a letter was read at to-day’s meeting of the Education Board from a young teacher called in the ballot who drew the board’s attention to the procedure of lodging appeals. Several board members answered in the negative and the board passed to the next business after the secretary. Mr D. W. Dunlop, had expressed the view that he did not think the teacher concerned would pass as he had been ill for a long time
