GOVERNOR-GENERAL DESIGNATE
(From the Official War Correspondent with the N.Z.E.F. in Britain.) ALDERSHOT. 9th December, Members of the N.Z.E.F. were visited by Sir Cyril and Lady Newall. The Governor-General-designate was accompanied by Brigadier Hargest. All units were inspected in the course of training. He also interviewed New Zealand soldiers in hospital and lunched at the force headquarters with the senior officers.
