“SUCCESSFUL SHOOT”
BRITISH ATTACK EAST OF METEMMA [British Official Wireless] (Received 9th December, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, Bth December. A Cairo communique states: “Our artillery again carried out a successful shoot on enemy positions east of Metemma, in the Sudan, Saturday. Loud explosions were heard, following the bombardment. Our artillery was also active in the area north of Kassala. There is no change in the situation on the other fronts.
