RICHMOND CONCERT ON TUESDAY
SICK AND WOUNDED FUND PARTY OF 30 FROM NELSON Next Tuesday evening at the Richmond Town Hall a concert will be held to raise funds for the Sick, Wounded and Distressed Fund. The entertainment will be provided by a concert party of 30 arranged by Mrs H. S. Claughton, of Nelson. Keen interest is being taken in the concert in the borough and surrounding district, and the excellent early sales of tickets indicates that there will be a large attendance.
A number of most successful patriotic fixtures have been held" in Richmond lately, and a further good response by the public at next Tuesday’s concert will add considerably to the rapidly increasing patriotic funds being raised by the people of the district.
