r A SUCCESSFUL EVENING r’ The Nelson Whippet Club held its i third 500 evening last Wednesday, a very pleasant function resulting. There was a large attendance. The first prize winners were Mr and 1 Mrs Hewlett and Mr and Mrs Kotua. j The lucky table prizes were won by z Mr and Mrs Burn, Mr Walters and Mrs z Mayers. Mr Devanny and Mrs Fluerty. 2 Mr Davis and partner. The whippet cake was well patronised and was won Z )T by Mr Kevin Dowling, Nelson. Supper was served and a very enjoyable evening was brought to a close 2: Thanks are extended to Messrs Baldwin. Scully and Patterson also Mr Bolton for kind donations towards these j» evenings.
