POSSESSION OF EXPLOSIVES
TERM OF IMPRISONMENT IMPOSED [U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] (Received 11th May. 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, 10th May. Cormac McGarrigle was sentenced to fifteen months’ imprisonment for the possession of explosives. The Judge explained that the leniency was due to the fact that McGarrigle was not a member of the 1.R.A., but of the Irish Citizen Army, which was not engaged in terrorism.
