FRESH TAXATION INCREASES fU.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright’ (Received 11th May, 10.5 a.m.) DUBLIN, 10th May. In the Dail Mr John McEntee, Finance Minister, introduced tlrt; Eire Budget. Fresh taxation increases are: Income tax. Is to 5s 6d; petrol tax, 2d; surtax, 10 to 15 per cent., according to incomes; tobacco duty, 8d a pound. The estimated revenue is £32,522.000, leaving a surplus of £II,OOO.
