ARRIVAL OF PORT GISBORNE
WILL LOAD 26.000 CASES OF APPLES FOR DUNKIRK DISCHARGING GENERAL CARGO The motor ship Port Gisborne arrived from New Plymouth yesterday afternoon, berthing at 5.20 p.m. The vessel is discharging 1000 tons of general cargo, and will load 26.000 cases of apples for Dunkirk. 3000 freight carcases of meat, and a small quantity of wool and skins. The Port Gisborne is expected to complete her loading on Wednesday next, and to leave on that evening’s tide on return to New Plymouth. Captain Kippens is in command of the Post Gisborne which is a vessel of 8389 tons gross.
