EIRE’S NEW TREASON BILL l I* A DUBLIN, 24th February. The Treason Bill, giving the State greater power in connection with actions calculated to undermine public order and authority, passed its second reading to-day by 79 votes to 10. Mr de Valera declared that no State in the world could depend on the goodwill of its citizens for the maintenance of freedom. Force was always needed to safeguard liberty.
