DUKE OF KENT
TALK TO AUSTRALIANS FIRST RADIO BROADCAST HAPPY ANTICIPATIONS LONDON, 26th January. The Duke of Kent broadcast to Australia at 9 a.m. to-day for the first time since his appointment as Gover-nor-General-designate. The Duke said how happy he and his wife are at the prospect of going to live in Australia and playing an active part in the life of the Commonwealth. He extended greetings to the Commonwealth in commemoration of Australia Day.
His Royal Highness said he hoped to visit all States and meet the worker at his work and the farmer on his farm
