RUMANIAN PLOT
IRON GUARD AGAIN OVERTHROW OF GOVERNMENT TWENTY-SEVEN ARRESTED BUCHAREST, 26th January. It is officially stated that 27 members of the Rumanian Iron Guard, including lawyers, an oil company director and students, have been arrested for a plot to destroy public buildings with flame throwers and incendiary bombs, and overthrow the Government. The plot was discovered after a mystery explosion in a private laboratory belonging to one of those arrested. Lieutenant Dumintrescu, who hanged himself in gaol. It is stated that his was the master mind behind the plot.
