THE ROYAL FAMILY
TESTS AT SANDRINGHAM AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS LONDON, 26th January. Their Majesties the King and Queen, the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose, and other members of the Royal Family will test the Sandringham air raid precautions on Saturday.
The staff and tenants will assist. Three Royal Air Force aeroplanes will carry out a mock air raid. The Home Office has ordered special anti-gas containers for children under two years of age who are unable to wear gas masks. It estimated 1,500,000 wil be required. Special masks are also being manufactured for children between two and four years of age.
