When the King said "Off you go,” a mighty wind seemed to gather Gwen in its power. It plucked her up and sent her flying through the air. She could see the little gnome in front, and together they flew over the tree tops. It was almost as much as Gwen could do to get her breath, but she did wonder where it was all going to end, how she would find the Witch’s cottage, and many more things. All that had been arranged and it was only when she had actually taken the place of the Witch’s cat that she was to find it was solely her own cleverness which could save the situation.
