Here you see the Witch calling her cat and Gwen looking on from a corner of the cottage. Really, we are much in the same position as Gwen, for she has suddenly found herself where she is, and is quite undecided as to how she got there. The wind has died down, the gnorne has vanished, and Gwen is all alone, listening to the Witch calling her cat. “Whew!” she breathed. "1 suppose 1 have to answer the call. Well here goes! I only hope she will not see how she is being deceived.” We all do, don’t we?
