MR E. G. GEDGE APPOINTED ADJUTANT (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister in Charge of Aviation, Mr Jones, announced last night that for the position of Adjutant to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, for which applications had recently been invited, Mr E G. Gedge, On maru, lmd been elected. Mr Gedge has had considerable army experience, and was associated with the territorial forces in New Zealand from 1522 to 1958. EQUIPMENT BRANCH The Minister in Charge of Aviation, M r Jones, announced last night that the following appoiutments had been made to the equipment branch of the Royal New Zealand Air Force in the rank of flyincr officer:— G. M. I. Adams, W. I). Abernethy, J. Baber, F. J. McWhinnie, G. H. Douglas, A. R. Lindop, R. B. Potter. The Minister added that Mr Baber was ac present serving os a corporal in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and Mr Potter had been appointed to a short service commission in the Royal Air Force in 1957. The present appointments to the equipment aro all non-flying personnel.
