AMATEUR ATHLETICS
The second sports meeting of the season, under the jurisdiction of the Motueka Amateur Athletic Club will be held at the Cricket Ground to-morrow evening (Wednesday) when it is hoped the public will accord its support by attending. A number of athletes and cyclists are training regularly each practice night, and competition in the various events should be keen. The programme for to-morrow is as follows:—Ladies’ 50yds handicap; ladies’ 75yds handicap; men’s 75yds handicap; men's 100yds handicap; one mile cycle handicap; half-mile cycle handicap; boys’ 50yds handicap: and girls’ 50yds handicap.
