WORKERS’ REPRESENTATIVE WELLINGTON NOMINATION I (Jailed Press Asßociatioal WELLINGTON, 28th November, lhe Wellington Trades Council has nominated Mr P. M. Butler to contest the ballot for the workers’ representative at the International Labour Conference at Geneva next year. Six names were submitted to the meeting. Messrs F. P. Walsh, J. Baxter, J. Moulton, E. Canham, P. M. Butler and J. Roberts (Christchurch). Messrs Walsh and Baxter withdrew. The executive of the Federation of Labour has called for a nominee from each of the 18 affiliated trades councils.
