POPULATION AND WEALTH I U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph—Copy rigbtl LONDON, 23rd November. A statistical abstract for the British Empire published to-day by the Board o? Trade shows that the population of the Empire is nearly 500,000,000, representing an 80.000,000 increase since 1911. After the United Kingdom, with a public revenue of £948,700,000, Australia is the wealthiest, country of the Empire with £191,900,000. Then comes Canada with £104,900,000 and New Zealand with £36,100,000.
