PARTICIPATION IN RODIXG RIVER SCHEME A further step was taken by the Richmond Borough Council at its last meeting in the matter of linking up with the Roding River water supply scheme. It was decided to consider at the next council meeting, on December 13th a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the raising of a loan for extension to the present reticulation within the borough and for the board’s authority for the payment of the annual charges to be met by the council on participating in the Roding River scheme, also for its share in the cost of the reservoir at Poorman’s Valley and the main pipe line to the boundary at Champion road.
