TRAFFIC REGULATIONS

OFFENDERS PENALISED In the Magistrate’s Court this morning the following prosecutions were brought by the police and Traffic Inspector J. T. Brough: William Thomas Skilton. for driving a car at Richmond without a tail-light, was ordered to pay costs 10s. Edward Fitzgerald, who rode a motorcycle with neither a driver’s license nor a warrant of fitness, was fined 10s and 10s costs on each charge. Maurice Hannen was charged with driving a car round a corner on Spooner’s Range on the wrong side of the road. The Magistrate. Mr T. E. Maunsell. remarked that breaches of this regulation were a fruitful source of accident on the road. He fined defendant £2 and 12s costs.
