BY MALE VOICE CHOIR The announcement of a Male Voice Choir Concert is invariably a matter for pleasurable anticipation. With • its variety of moods and colours in 1 high-class and popular music there i* an appeal to all classes of music lovers. At the forthcoming recital by the Nelson choir on Monday, sth December. realisation should be doubly pleasurable in that the programme will be one of the most entertaining yet to be presented by the local choir. In addition to part songs there will be two numbers for pianoforte duet by Mrs P. Vining and Miss Hodgson and six bracketed works in vocal solo by Captain D. Norris-Hill. The booking l has opened at Messrs Chas. Begg and Co’s., where patrons are advised to book early.
