After years of existence in one room with his wife on £1 a week which was their joint old-age pension. George Bolam, aged 76, of Alnwick Northumberland, has bee nadvised by solicitors that he has inherited £23,000 from an uncle in South Australia The fortune includes a 300-foot property at Sydney.
