LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE AT SHANGHAI “CHINESE THE AGGRESSORS” [United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyrigbtl (Received 11th September, 2 p.m.) TOKIO, 10th September. It is understood that in a verbal reply to the English and American warnings regarding liability for damage which their nations suffer in Shanghai, Japan denies the liability on the principle that the Chinese are the aggressors.
