ENGLISH ACTOR ARRESTED AT MOSCOW
FOR PHOTOGRAPHING AT DRAMATIC FESTIVAL I United Preßs Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyrigbtl (Received 11th September, 2 p.m.) MOSCOW, 10th September. John Kirk, English amateur actor and playwright, was arrested and questioned for three hours for photographing the production of Mr Bernard Shaw’s “Applecart” at a dramatic festival. He alleges that he was detained in an office under a barrage of questions by a score of policemen.
