NEW REST ROOM
FACILITIES FOR THE PUBLIC At the monthly meeting of the Nelson Plunket Society, the secretary (Mrs E. Hudson) reported that the new Rest Rooms were being well patronised, but it was not generally realised that the Rest Room was for the use of the general public. In addition to up-tc-date lavatory accommodation, there are also facilities for country patrons to boil hot water, etc., by means of Id in the slot gas supply, together with kettles provided for the purpose. Also there is a parcel repository, where parcels may be safely left on payment of a small fee. The Rest Room is open till 9 p.m. on Friday nights, for the convenience of late night shoppers. There is, of course, no charge for the use of the Rest Room.
