NURMI’S RECORD BROKEN
FOR TWO MILE COURSE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) PRINCETON, 14th June. Donald Ray Lash, aged 22, an Indiana University student to-day shattered Nurmi’s two mile record. Lash’s time was 8 minutes 58.3 seconds, compared with 8 minutes 59.6 seconds established in 1931 by Nurmi.
