INFANT MORTALITY IN BRITAIN

RUGBY, 26th January
Provisional figures for 1935 just issued by the Registrar-General, show the lowest rates on record for infant mortality. The rate for England and Wales was 57 deaths under one year per 1000 live births, compared with 59 in 1934 and 64 in 1933
