RECENT MOTION RESCINDED

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day,
Tlie motion passed by the Canterbury Rugby Union a fortnight ago that the Ranfurly Shield would not he taken on tour this season, was rescinded at a meeting of the management committee of the Union last night after discussion in committee. It was announced that the question of whether the Shield should be taken on tour or not would be reconsidered on 51st July.
