JAN, OF WINDMILL LAND
DUTCH OPERETTA CENTRAL SCHOOL’S PRODUCTION Remembering “Princess Ju Ju” the public of Nelson will look forward to the presentation of “Jan, of Windmill Land” which takes place on 27th and 28th of next month. The scene is laid in Holland and the school has been fortunate in again securing the services of Miss M. Naylor, to whom has been entrusted the task of securing the scenic effects. The music is bright and varied and Mr T. Cole will have a full orchestra of the best talent with Miss Hodgson as pianist.
It is hoped, through the courtesy of Mr Gray, to again secure the lighting equipment which added so materially to the success of “Princess Ju Ju.” The dialogue is humorous and the cast an exceptionally strong one. Everything points to a most successful production. The box plan will be open early in September.
