OPENING DATE
iSTR-ATSORD OK AHUKUR A LINE (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. The tentative date of the opening of the Stratford-Okahukura railway was announced by Mr Sterling, chairman of the Railways Board, who stated that the lino would bo open for regular traffic on 3rd September. The line has not yet been finally inspected on behalf of the Railway Department, but a preliminary inspection indicated that no difficulty was likely to arise to prevent ordinary working being commenced on that date. iii
