REPRESENTATIONS TO BRITISH CABINET (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 15th February, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, 14th February. A deputation representing eheeseinakers throughout the country appealed to Major Elliot, Minister of Agriculture, to immediately consider the possibility of dealing with cheese imports on similar lines to meat-. -A serious situation lias arisen owing to heavy stocks of cheese, mostly from the dominions. Major Elliot replied that The recognised the gravity of the situation, which would lie seriously considered.
