SONS TURN ON FATHERS
THREE YEARS’ BORSTAL (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, 3rd August, When the respective fathers of Richard de Thierry and Arthur David Ogle attempted to chastise them for wayward- : ness, they turned and thrashed their fathers. These facts were revealed in,.the Supremo Court to-day, when de Thierry appeared for sentence on six charges of breaking, entering, and theft, and Ogle on two similar charges. “You have both started off to make a failure of your lives,” said his Honour to the prisoners. “When your fathers attempted to chastise you it ended in your thrashing your fathers. Both cases are very bad.’’ Tlie prisoners were sent to the Borsi.al Institute for three years,
