EVANGELISTIC MISSION

Speaking in the Richmond Methodist Church in connection with the evangelistic mission at present being held, the Rev. Ray Richards based his remarks on the words “God is Love” (1. John 4.8), which he characterised as the greatest truth ever spoken. Men might spurn that love, refuse it, misunderstand it, but the fact of the divine love remained as the unanswerable argument to every human need, a challenging affection that furnished a spiritual dynamic that could overcome every human beselnjent. The address was listened to with close attention by the large audience while the singing, both prior to the service proper as well as later, was hearty and inspiring. Tonight., will be the last of tile scries of week-night services, and will take the form of a thanksgiving meeting, when a thank offering will be taken to defrav mission expenses.
