OVER NIAGARA FALLS
IN STEEL BARREL (United Press .Association-By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright) VANCOUVER, Ist June. ■ A message from Niagara Falls states that for the second time in his adventurous career, William Hill, a Niagara boatman, defied the swirling currents, the, eddies of the whirlpool, and the lower rapids below the Falls, and survived. He made his spectacular trip in a steel barrel, which for nearly four hours was tossed aboifE like a rubber ball in sight of 5000 people, including Mrs Hill and their eight children. He suffered no ill effects.
