A FRACTURED SKULL

A fractured skull was sustained by James Stirling aged 33 years, in Glenafton collieries on Saturday afternoon, when he was struck on the head with :i piece of iron casting accidentally dropped from above. The injured man was creeling new screens al the mine and was standing under the scaffolding al the lime. !!<• was admitted In hospital and is progressing favourably.
