MINISTERIAL VISITS
THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION
The Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore left Nelson this morning on a tour of country schools in the Motueka electorate. During the morning tho Appleby, Redwood's Valley, Mahana, Mapua and Tasman schools were visited and Neudorf and Upper Moutere this afternoon.
Mr Atmore was accompanied bv Mr G. C. Black, M.P., and Mr F. W. O. Smith, chairman of the Nelson Education Board. To-morrow the Minister will visit schools in the Motueka area and on Wednesday and Thursday he will make a tour of the Collingwood and Takaka districts.
SIR APIRANA NGATA AND HON. P DE LA PERRELLE
The Hon. Sir Apirana Ngata, Minis- 1 ter of Native Affairs, will visit Motuoka to-morrow, where he will be met by Maoris from the Bay district. He will also accompany the Minister of Education on his visit to the Motueka High School. The Hon. P. de la Perrelle, Minister of Tourist Resorts, arrives in Motueka on Wednesday from the West Coast. The Minister will inspect the Maruia Springs on his way from Westport.
