ANOTHER CLAIM AGAINST AIRMEN

SYDNEY, 9th August.
A writ has been issued on behalf. of Robert Hitchcock, aviation ground engineer, claiming from Kingsford Smith, Ulm, and Keith Anderson £IOOO which Hitchcock alleges the airmen agreed to pay him prior to their depafture for America to undertake the trans-Pacific flight. The Southern Cross left the Richmond Aerodrome at 10,35 o'clock for Point Cook. ARRIVAL AT POINT COOK (Received 10th August, 11.15 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Southern Cross arrived at Point Cook after a flight occupying slightly over five hours. Lieutenant Ulm stated that the engines were working satisfactorily. He was pleased with the wireless signals which were being clearly received in New. Zealand.
They expect to stay in Melbourne for a few days and then hop off for Western Australia.
