THREE STEAMERS HELD UP
DISPUTE WITH COOKS

SYDNEY. 10th April. As a result of the cooks’ dispute, over 300 men are now idle, on three Huddart Parker steamers, the. Ulirnaroa, the Zeniandin, and the Corio. There is rio sign of a settlement. It is stated that unless a settlement of the cooks’ dispute on the Huddart Parker ships is made within a few days, tint Tiller-State Steamship Owners’ Federation will apply to the Federal Arbitration Court for the cancellation of the cooks’ award.
