Tho shortage of water in some localities has got to the serious stage, and it is with great- inconvenience that supplies are being brought to stock (says the Wanganui “Herald”). One farmer iias actually to cart water in his motor car 11 miles to provide for household purposes and stock. Another. in the Pa tea County is bringing his water seven miles, while others are driving their stock considerable distances.
